Massachusetts-based passive patient monitoring platform Podimetrics received USD 25 million in debt financing from CIBC Innovation Banking. Early this year, the company concluded a USD 45 million Series C funding round led by D1 Capital Partners which brought the total funds raised by the company to USD 73.3 million.
The new funds will be used to expand commercial operations of its product, SmartMat, across the US. The FDA-approved product records temperature changes in the foot to identify early signs of inflammation and diabetic foot ulcer
