Teampay raises USD 47 million in a mix of Series B and debt funding

Funding

  • Teampay, an AP automation platform that also offers business expense cards, raised USD 47 million, comprising USD 35.25 million in Series B funding and USD 11.75 million in debt. The Series B funding was led by Fin Venture Capital with participation from Mastercard, Proof Ventures, Trestle, and Espresso Capital. The newly raised funds bring Teampay’s total funds raised to around USD 65 million.

  • The funds will be invested in expanding its sales and marketing operations as well as deepening its partnership with Mastercard. Notably, Teampay partnered with Mastercard last year to launch their “Catalyst” business expense cards.
