Karman+, a space debris management company previously based in the Netherlands, relocated its headquarters to Denver, announced the Polis Administration and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).
The Colorado Economic Development Commission has approved performance-based job growth incentive tax credits of USD 1.2 million+ over an 8-year period with the relocation expected to create around 150 new jobs.
Founded in 2021, Karman+ is a company focused on near-earth asteroid mining for energy and resources. As opposed to other space mining companies whose initial goal is minerals and metals, Karman+ plans to begin with mining for water.
