BeeHero, an Israeli startup that provides farmers with precise pollination solutions using beehives and IoT, raised USD 42 million in a Series B funding round led by Convent Capital. New investors including General Motors, Cibus Capital, and Rabobank, and existing investors including Firstime and J-Ventures also joined the round.
The funds will be used to accelerate the growth and adoption of the company’s Precision Pollination platform, and to increase spending on research and development (R&D) for the “Sustainable Agriculture Ecosystem” the company is building.
BeeHero’s Precision Pollination services have pollinated more than 100,000 acres of high-value crops serving growers, beekeepers, agronomists, and ag retailers across the US to date. The company has recently started to expand into international markets such as Australia, Europe, South Africa, and South America.
