Evrnu, a Seattle-based company that develops a wide range of regenerative fiber technologies for apparel products from textile waste, announced a supply partnership with global fashion brand Zara for the launch of the latter’s capsule collection “Zara x Evrnu” made from Evrnu’s NuCycl Lyocell.
NuCycl Lyocell is a recyclable textile material made from 100% cotton textile waste that is designed to replace and outperform conventional cotton, man-made cellulosic fibers, nylon, and polyester. The Zara x Evrnu collection is part of Inditex’s (parent company of Zara) Sustainability Innovation Hub, a platform for startups that develop new and innovative textile materials that are environmentally friendly.
Evrnu reported that the company is currently expanding its facilities and operations and would continue to commercialize its material via partnerships with fashion brands similar to the one with Zara.
