PolyPerception partners with TOMRA to combine waste material analysis with waste sorting

Partnerships

  • PolyPerception, a Belgian company that provides AI-powered real-time end-to-end waste flow monitoring to plastics and material recovery facilities, has partnered with TOMRA, a German developer of sensor-based waste sorting solutions. Through the partnership, the companies will jointly offer AI-powered material analysis technology to waste sorting and recycling facilities.

  • PolyPerception and TOMRA offer solutions in material analysis and sorting, respectively, for Polymers. The companies expect this partnership to enable the further advancement of these state-of-art technologies. Moreover, PolyPerception will leverage TOMRA’s expertise to accelerate its commercial development.

  • Founded in 2021, PolyPerception offers an end-to-end digital twin of the sorting process, which can adapt according to the customer’s sorting requirements, along with real-time analytics.
