Nao Technologies, a French manufacturer of autonomous precision weeding robots, raised USD 33 million in a Series B funding round led by Mirova (the affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers). Existing shareholders, including the Eco-technologies Fund (administered by Bpifrance on behalf of the French State within the France 2030 plan), Capagro, Demeter, Pymwymic, and Codema, participated in the round, along with new investors M Capital and ARIS Occitanie.
The company intends to use the funds to expedite its international expansion and more than double its operating fleet over the next two years.
