Specialized B2B Telehealth provider Hinge Health has launched a new house-call physical therapy service. The service will synergize with the company’s Telehealth offering, which provides physical therapy and behavioral health solutions for back and joint pain. The service will initially launch in Chicago before fully expanding across the US within the next 18 to 24 months.
The service will allow patients to schedule appointments via Hinge Health’s app, securing an at-home visit from a physical therapist between one and two business days. The appointments will last for 45 minutes and aim to assess patients’ physical ability, flexibility, strength, and balance. Physical therapists will also carry out fall risk assessments of patients' homes.
Hinge Health’s B2B offering serves health plans and enterprise clients. It has served over 1,250 companies including Verizon, Volvo, and Salesforce. The company has raised just over USD 1 billion in funding.
