Kompasbank, a Danish neobank focusing on the SME segment, announced that it raised DKK 92 million (~USD 13.4 million) in a funding round that closed in December 2022. The round saw participation from existing and new investors, and its total funding now stands at USD 45.7 million.
The company aims to utilize the funds to strengthen its customer relationships and expand its services.
Formed in 2021, Kompasbank provides SMEs with savings accounts and loans ranging between DKK 500,000 (~USD 72,725) and DKK 25 million (~USD 3.64 million). During the first half of 2022, its loan portfolio was reportedly increased by 842%, resulting in DKK 661 million (~USD 96.14 million). Kompasbank further claimed to maintain its growth in the second half of the year.
