Israeli producer of dairy alternatives using precision fermentation, Remilk, partnered with US food giant General Mills, to produce General Mills’ Bold Cultur precision fermented cream cheese, marking Remilk’s US debut and first commercial collaboration.
General Mills has already begun production of Bold Cultur using Remilk’s protein. This product was first launched in 2021 and was made using Perfect Day’s precision-fermented whey.
General Mills is also looking at the possibility of producing additional products using Remilk’s protein spanning various product categories under multiple partnerships.
