Clear Space raised EUR 26 million in Series A funding round

Funding

  • ClearSpace, a Swiss space-tech startup specializing in space debris management, has raised EUR 26.7 million (~USD 29 million) in a Series A funding round co-led by OTB Ventures (backed by European Investment Fund under InvestEU program) and Swisscom Ventures along with the participation of Luxembourg Future Fund, Lakestar, In-Q-Tel, Happiness Capital, and 600 T Space Investments.

  • The funding will be funneled towards expediting the company’s activities in orbital debris removal, especially ahead of ClearSpace-1 (the world’s first debris removal mission) which is slated to launch in 2026.

  • ClearSpace will also establish an operational presence in Luxembourg as a part of this financing.
