Lotame, a customer data platform (CDP) and data marketplace, announced the launch of Spherical, a new data platform that aims to help companies make better use of their first-party data.
Spherical claims to make it easier for marketers and media owners to unify, model, enrich, and activate customer data across different tech stacks. The platform is interoperable across multiple data sources and can be integrated across data warehouses and other CDPs including BlueConic, mParticle, and Tealium. Lotame stated that in the future it plans to expand the number of CDPs its platform supports.
Lotame claims that Spherical provides a faster and easier way to access actionable customer intelligence and drive revenue growth.
Analyst QuickTake: Lotame’s solution is in line with the growing trend amongst CDPs of integrating their platforms with data warehouses and CDPs to deliver customer intelligence in a privacy-preserving manner. The solution is also expected to leverage Lotame’s proprietary Panorama ID and its cookieless ID solution to uncover customer identities and provide deeper customer intelligence.
