Guardz, an Israel-based cybersecurity and cyber insurance provider, raised USD 10 million in a seed funding round led by Hanaco Ventures, with participation from iAngels, GKFF Ventures, and Cyverse Capital.
This announcement also marks the company’s emergence from stealth. The funds will be used to broaden its product offering, develop its cyber insurance division, and expand its distribution channels.
Guardz was initially launched in the US market and currently serves 300 customers. The average number of employees within its current group of users is around 30–40 per company, and it plans to target organizations with a size of 10–250 employees, with starting prices for the plan at USD 9 per user per month.
