Call2Recycle collaborates with Electronic Distributors International Inc to expand the battery recycling infrastructure in Ontario

Partnerships

  • Call2Recycle Canada partnered with Electronic Distributors International Inc. (EDI) to increase the sorting capacity of end-of-life batteries in Ontario.

  • The firms believe that joining the present battery collection and recycling network managed by Call2Recycle, EDI's sorting plant in Orillia (ON), will benefit the economy of Ontario and increase the province's capacity for battery sorting by 30%.

  • This new collaboration is part of Call2Recycle's ongoing commitment to growing its recycling network by adding new sorting and processing partners and its ongoing open-supplier strategy to better advance its mission to increase the collection and diversion of end-of-life batteries in Ontario and across Canada.
