Mino Games, a Canada-based Web3 gaming studio, has raised USD 15 million in a Series B funding round led by Standard Crypto, with participation from Boost VC, Collab+Currency, Earl Grey Capital, and Konvoy Ventures. The company’s total funding currently stands at more than USD 25 million.
In addition to this, the company is also launching its new franchise, Dimensionals, which is a collectible character game with Web3 features.
The funds will be utilized to accelerate the launch of Dimensionals, fuel global growth, and expand its global employee headcount of 80 by 50%, by the end of 2023.
Founded in 2011, Mino Games leverages blockchain technology to create character-driven games for players. Its portfolio includes the Mino Monsters series of free-to-play flagship games—Cat Game and Dog Game. Each game has generated millions in revenue, counts players spanning over 90 countries, and has 60 million downloads to date. The company operates across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the US.
