Agtonomy, a San-Francisco-based startup offering solutions to convert tractors and equipment into autonomous machines, has partnered with Silver Oak Cellars, a premium wine producer, to advance climate-smart farming technologies.
The two companies have collaborated to pilot Agtonomy's software and tele-guidance technology, TeleFarmer, in Silver Oak vineyards starting from Napa Valley. The TeleFarmer system consisting of cutting-edge software, a collection of apps, and an EV reference tractor enables farmers of specialty crops to remotely monitor and carry out routine farming operations while maintaining farmer control.
In 2023 and 2024, Agtonomy intends to extend its farming services throughout California by leveraging the TeleFarmer technology.
