Based in Switzerland, Ajuna Network, a Web3 gaming development platform, raised USD 5 million in a private funding round led by CMCC Global. The round brings its total funding to USD 14 million.
The company aims to utilize the funds to integrate its platform with additional game engines and to build trusted execution environments (TEEs) linked to the Polkadot, Ethereum, and Polygon networks.
Along with the raise, it launched its first NFT collective game, Awesome Ajuna Avatars, which is inspired by its flagship game, BattleMogs.
Formed in 2021, Ajuna Network offers a suite of tools for game developers to utilize game development engines, such as Unreal and Unity, to create decentralized games. It is currently deployed on Polkadot with plans to expand to Ethereum and Polygon shortly.
