Natural Cycles raises USD 7 million in funding

Funding

  • Natural Cycles, an at-home fertility test kit startup, raised USD 7 million in a funding round led by Samsung Ventures, with participation from Heartcore Capital, Headline, Bonnier Ventures, and EQT Ventures. The company's total funding following this round stands at nearly USD 45 million.

  • The funds will be used to scale its AI/ML efforts, and hardware development, and support the launch of its cycle tracking feature integrated with the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series across 32 markets.

  • In addition to this, Natural Cycles will be launching two new Bluetooth thermometers to its existing users this week.

  • Natural Cycles also reported that it reached profitability for the first time in 2022. The company currently counts over 2 million registered users globally. The company plans to develop its own wearable technology for its FDA-cleared NC app which currently integrates with the third-party wearable technology, Oura Ring. The app is certified as a contraceptive in Europe, Australia, and Singapore.
