Cylib, a German lithium-ion battery recycling company, raised EUR 8 million (~USD 8.6 million) in an extended seed funding round led by World Fund. The entrepreneurial European VC, 10x Founders, participated as a co-investor. In addition, existing investors like VSquared Ventures and Speedinvest participated, along with business angels, Kai Hansen and Karim Jalbout.
Analyst QuickTake: This is an extension of the October 2022 seed round, in which Cylib raised EUR 3.6 million (~USD 3.9 million) to build a pilot plant in Aachen, Germany, and establish strategic partnerships, bringing the total seed funding to EUR 11.6 million (~USD 12.4 million).
