Oligo Security, an Israel-based startup that offers open-source security solutions, raised USD 28 million in a split funding round between seed and Series A. The round was co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Ballistic Ventures, TLV Partners, and Shlomo Krame, with partnerships from other angel investors.
The company intends to utilize the funds to accelerate runtime application security and observability.
Founded in 2022, the company helps enterprises to detect and prevent open-source code vulnerabilities in their applications using library analysis and behavioral monitoring based on application context. The platform uses a proprietary extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF) engine to detect and prevent attacks while maintaining the stability of the underlying application.
