Oligo Security raises USD 28 million in a funding round

Funding

  • Oligo Security, an Israel-based startup that offers open-source security solutions, raised USD 28 million in a split funding round between seed and Series A. The round was co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Ballistic Ventures, TLV Partners, and Shlomo Krame, with partnerships from other angel investors.

  • The company intends to utilize the funds to accelerate runtime application security and observability.

  • Founded in 2022, the company helps enterprises to detect and prevent open-source code vulnerabilities in their applications using library analysis and behavioral monitoring based on application context. The platform uses a proprietary extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF) engine to detect and prevent attacks while maintaining the stability of the underlying application.
