Wejo extends partnership with Renault Group to provide remote asset and activity management services

Partnerships

  • Wejo, a mobility data provider, announced that it has expanded its partnership with Renault Group to provide Wejo with access to vehicle data from Renault Group's cloud platform, Easy Connect for Fleet.

  • The integration enables Wejo to access data from fleet vehicles via Easy Connect for Fleet, which will then be analyzed and processed by Wejo's data exchange platform, ADEPT. The collected data provides useful insights, like geographic locations, fuel consumption, odometer and speed readings, and tire pressure, which can be utilized by fleet management service (FMS) providers, telematics service providers (TSPs), and fleet owners. Moreover, Wejo will also have access to driver behavior information, which can be used to promote safer driving practices.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Wejo's partnership with Renault Group's Easy Connect for Fleet Solutions represents its expansion into the European fleet management market, providing reliable data from embedded vehicle hardware to fleet management service providers. By continuing to integrate fleet solution capabilities, Wejo can increase its customer base and create a competitive advantage in the market.
