egnite, Inc, a digital healthcare company, announced a partnership with Philippe Généreux (director of the Structural Heart Program) and Linda Gillam (chair of Cardiovascular Medicine), leading physicians from Morristown’s Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute. The aim of this partnership is to improve the quality of care given to patients suffering from cardiovascular (CV) disease.
egnite’s AI-driven digital health platform, CardioCare, combined with the knowledge of the physicians, will assist with conducting research to identify the best points of therapeutic intervention for patients with valvular heart disease.
This partnership will also assist in the advancement of Dr. Généreux’s research on cardiac staging, which investigates how the treatment and results of aortic stenosis (AS) and mitral regurgitation (MR) can be improved through staging. The research will use egnite’s database, which includes 12 million de-identified cardiovascular encounters.
