Brightline, a virtual behavioral health provider for families, has partnered with Evernorth, a subsidiary of Cigna Group, to provide Evernorth employer members with access to virtual behavioral care for children, teenagers, and their families. The services will be available across all 50 states and will also include services such as therapist-led and psychiatrist-led care, one-on-one coaching, interactive exercises, and educational content.
Under the partnership agreement, Evernorth will pay Brightline for its services, based on a fee-per-service model instead of a monthly subscription per member cost.
California-based Brightline offers virtual behavioral health solutions for families with a focus on younger populations. The services provided on its digital platform include self-guided content, virtual consultations, behavior therapy, psychiatry evaluations, medication support, and speech-language therapy. Brightline covers treatment for behavioral conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and disruptive behavior. As of March 2022, its services were available across 44 states and to employees in 33 companies.
