VitalXP, a Web3-based game developer, raised USD 3 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Streamlined Ventures and Marbruck Investments.
The company intends to use the fresh funds to develop its gaming platform and its first game, Lowlife Forms.
Lowlife Forms is a modular shooter game set in a sci-fi universe with aliens. It is being built from the ground up and is based on the company’s intellectual property.
The game’s first NFT drop is scheduled for March 9 on Magic Eden, which will feature the first set of playable characters selling for 4.4 SOL apiece (~USD 100). This will be followed by future quarterly releases.
Founded in 2019, VitalXP is a blockchain-enabled game studio building an ecosystem of games with interoperable NFTs.
