Wunderkind raises USD 76 million in Series C funding; 35% YoY growth in top line in 2022

  • Wunderkind (formerly BounceX), an AdTech firm that provides customer data insights, raised USD 76 million in a Series C funding round led by Neuberger Berman. This brings its total funding to more than USD 150 million.

  • The company intends to use the funds toward product development, hiring additional staff, and expanding into new markets. The company plans to introduce several new features to its platform, including a one-to-one messaging service for advertisements, a "discovery" feature for ecommerce businesses, and personalized product recommendations based on customer preferences and prior interactions.

  • Wunderkind generated an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of USD 100 million in 2020, and in 2022, its revenue increased by 35% compared to the previous year. According to the firm, there are positive signs indicating that the company will continue to experience growth in revenue this year.
