Rubicon Technologies, a digital marketplace for waste and recycling solutions, expanded its smart technology for government fleets in 11 more cities across the US to help run core city operations, focusing on solid waste collection.
This acceleration in adoption is led by new city customers: including Rochester, New York; Surprise, Arizona; High Point, North Carolina; Manchester, New Hampshire; Newton, Massachusetts; Rockville, Maryland; Galveston, Texas; Cleveland Heights, Ohio; Dubuque, Iowa; North Platte, Nebraska; and Winchester, Virginia.
Rubicon's RUBICONSmartCity technology claims to help local governments improve waste, recycling, and heavy-duty municipal fleet operations. It enables existing government-owned fleets to monitor vehicle health, improve driver behavior, and collect materials efficiently, resulting in fewer accidents, less road wear, and safer communities. The technology also facilitates the transition from manual to digital operations, balances waste and recycling routes to provide equitable service, reduces missed pickups and unnecessary go-backs, saves money, enhances customer service, and allows for data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and serve communities better.
