Zitcha, a retail media ad platform, appointed Jack Byrne as chief operating officer (COO), Anthony Rey as chief technology officer (CTO), and Nick Hinsley as chief revenue officer (CRO) to lead its expansion plans in the US and Europe.
The company stated that in their newly assigned positions, Jack Byrne, co-founder of Zitcha and a former MD at Hatched, will oversee day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and guide the company's growth; Anthony Rey, a technology expert, will be responsible for designing the technology roadmap and ensuring the platform remains innovative; and Nick Hinsley, a former senior VP of sales at customer data platform Lexer, will focus on driving revenue, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s growth.
In addition, the company announced two strategic partnerships: 1) Qsic worldwide, which specializes in AI-powered retail audio media to provide innovative solutions to a broader audience of retailers by automating and streamlining in-store audio; and 2) Grace & Co, a UK-based marketing consultancy firm, to help retailers leverage underutilized in-store and offline channels to reach their customers and increase revenue.
Analyst QuickTake: Zitcha's recent hires are in line with Zitcha’s stated objectives, as stated at its last seed funding round in November 2022 , and would support its expansion into the highly competitive retail media industry in the US and Europe. Moreover, the strategic partnerships with Qsic worldwide and Grace & Co. will provide Zitcha with new opportunities and enable it to offer innovative solutions to retailers seeking seamless omnichannel integration.
