Intelligent Growth Solutions integrates observability needs into New Relic platform

Partnerships

  • Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS), a UK-based developer of hydroponic vertical farms, has standardized on New Relic, a full-stack data analysis and observability platform, which provides real-time insight on IGS's system performance, allowing IGS to cut on monitoring spend and free up its software team to focus on projects that assist the company in addressing the increasing need for sustainable agriculture solutions.

  • With New Relic, IGS has access to more than 30 monitoring capabilities, which enable the company to detect and solve issues with greater speed and efficiency. Since implementing New Relic, the company reported an 80% reduction in resolution time and a 58% reduction in logging and monitoring expenses. Previously, IGS had to manually request access to specific hosts and configure non-standard log forwarding to collect application logs, separate from their infrastructure logs, metrics, traces, and events, which required countless hours and staffing resources.

  • New Relic, an all-in-one observability platform, also provides proactive monitoring capabilities to detect performance degradation and errors while also improving developer productivity, enhancing understanding of relationships within microservices, and offering easy installation.
