With this, the company closed the year with revenue of USD 4.8 million (vs. USD 9.3 million revenue in 2021).
The company reported a non-GAAP operating loss of USD 38.5 million in Q4 2022, compared to a loss of USD 25.7 million in Q4 2021, largely due to higher R&D expenses (which rose 43.6% YoY; adjusted for stock-based compensation). Its non-GAAP operating losses for the full-year 2022 stood at USD 127.7 million, 1.6x the loss incurred a year ago.
In 2023, Avea plans to maintain operating expenses similar to 2022. The company also aims to complete the addition of a new manufacturing line, complete key product development targets for both automotive and industrial sectors, and add two more production programs.
