Factorial Energy expands and establishes subsidiary in Germany

Geographic expansion

  • Factorial Energy, a solid-state battery developer, has established a European subsidiary in Germany.

  • This enables the company to better serve its clients and automotive partners while also building strategic relationships and working closely with key European suppliers and manufacturing partners. Factorial also noted that the geographic expansion provides access to the region’s talent and automotive expertise for future team expansion.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This announcement follows Factorial’s global expansion into both South Korea and Japan in 2022 . Furthermore, in January 2023 , Factorial unveiled its first 100 Amp-hour (Ah) battery cell at CES 2023, which was developed as part of its joint development agreement formed with Stellantis in November 2021.
