May Mobility partners with Stantec to develop autonomous micro-transit solutions

Partnerships

  • May Mobility, a developer of autonomous shuttle services, has partnered with Stantec, a design and engineering company, to develop autonomous vehicle (AV) micro-transit solutions; small-scale, on-demand public transit services for either fixed routes and schedules or flexible routes and on-demand scheduling.

  • Through the partnership, the companies aim to develop the required infrastructure and deploy AVs across a range of commercial and municipal locations such as cities, campuses, and airports, globally.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Currently, May Mobility has active autonomous shuttle/micro-transit services deployed in cities such as Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids (Michigan), and Arlington (Texas). With today’s partnership, if proven successful, the company will be able to expand its services to more locations in the future.
