SCADAfence, an industrial IoT/operational technology security startup, announced it has secured additional funding from Fujitsu (through a Fujitsu Ventures Limited subsidiary), Mitsubishi Electric, and Prosegur Corporation. Financials of this funding round were not disclosed.
The new investment is expected to facilitate the company’s continued growth, along with increasing global presence and assistance in solidifying existing strategic partnerships.
Following the investment, SCADAfence will be forming strategic partnerships with all three investors to either be integrated into their systems or to be offered as a service offering.
Founded in 2014, SCADAfence is an Israeli startup offering OT and IoT security solutions. The company’s platform helps enterprises to minimize cyber risks and operation threats with full coverage of large-scale networks. SCADAfence serves industries such as manufacturing, building management, and critical infrastructure, and has raised USD 23.5 million in funding to date.
