Push Security, a cloud application security startup, has raised USD 15 million in a Series A funding round led by Google Ventures (GV) with participation from Decibel, Dug Song (co-founder and former CEO of Duo Security), and Richard Waldron (co-founder and CEO of Tray.io).
The company witnessed a 14x increase in revenue in Q1 2023. It will be adding an array of new features in parallel to the funding, which includes a browser-based SaaS account discovery tool, just-in-time notifications, managed browser extension deployment, risky third-party integration detection, and ChatOps messaging for security teams. Specific uses of the new funding were not disclosed.
Following the investment, GV general partner Kim Faris and co-founder and former CTO of Duo Security Jon Oberheide joined Push Security’s board.
