Mysten Labs partners with Aether Games to build Web3 games on Sui

Partnerships

  • Mysten Labs, a Web3 infrastructure company and developer of the Sui (a layer-1 blockchain), announced that it has partnered with Aether Games, a Web3 game development and publishing studio.

  • Aether will build Web3 games on the Sui blockchain as part of the partnership.

  • Formed in 2021, Mysten Labs was formed by four former executives of Meta’s Novi Research team and lead architects of the defunct Diem blockchain. It is the developer behind the Sui blockchain and open-source programming language for building smart contracts, Move.

  • Formed in 2021, Aether Games has already released its first Web3-based game called “Cards of Ethernity,” a collectible card game backed by NFTs.
