Bunq, a Dutch neobank that provides digital banking services to individuals and businesses, has applied for a US banking license to offer its services in all 50 states of the country.
When it launches in the US, Bunq will focus on the digital nomad population of five million, which also comprises European expatriates and businesses operating in the US that face difficulties when obtaining a conventional bank account.
