Schouten Europe launches new plant-based egg white

Product updates

  • Schouten Europe, a Dutch company specializing in vegetarian and vegan food production, has introduced a new plant-based egg white alternative called “No Egg White,” with the same functional properties as traditional egg white, but with a longer shelf life.

  • No Egg White, made from a combination of pea protein and potato starch, can be used in various applications, including baking and food service. Additionally, the product is free from allergens, cholesterol, and antibiotics.

  • No Egg White is now available worldwide in 4.5 kg pouches, with a shelf life of over three months.

  • Schouten Europe was established in 1893 and produces packaged plant-based food products such as alternative meats, plant-based snacks, and plant-based schnitzels, burgers, and sausages. The company offers products that are 100% plant-based, non-GMO, and free from artificial additives, and is present in over 50 countries, with its products being sold in supermarkets, restaurants, and other food service outlets.
