Oshi Health enters value-based contract with Aetna

Partnerships

  • Oshi Health, a B2B virtual care provider focusing on gastrointestinal (GI) health, has entered a value-based contract with CVS Health-owned insurer Aetna to provide in-network access to specialized treatment. This collaboration took place almost two years following CVS Health's investment in Oshi during the startup's Series A funding round.

  • Under the terms of the partnership, Oshi will provide in-network access to its services for Aetna members enrolled in specific commercial plans in six states: Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Oshi will evaluate care teams' ability to manage patients' symptoms using medication, dietary adjustments, and gut-brain psychology interventions. The main objective of the collaboration is to provide virtual, whole-person care for GI disorders, with plans to expand to additional states in the future.
