Product updates

  • Ostloong Innovations, a Swiss startup, announced the launch of LYRA, an AR smartglasses backed by AI features for office work, city life, and travel.

  • LYRA comes with a range of features controlled by a touchpad on the device, which include an integrated multilingual translator, AI secretary to take notes during meetings, integrated GPS navigation, integrated call and messaging solutions, and a music player. Pre-sale for the glasses will be available on the company's website from September 2023 onwards.

  • Ostloong Innovations specializes in AR devices backed by AI that are meant for outdoor sports. The AR user interface of the displays can be customized for various outdoor sports such as skiing, cycling, motorcycling, and hiking. The displays show users relevant information such as altitude and temperature, road maps, wind speed, movement speed, and animated points of interest

  • Analyst QuickTake: Ostloong Innovation’s unique factor is its “Outdoor AR technology,” which allows different parts of a virtual image to appear at different distances, creating a more realistic AR experience. With the launch of LYRA, the company expands its product offerings beyond specialized outdoor sports to include use cases for general consumers.
