AR glass manufacturer NuEyes announced the launch of NuLoupes, the company’s smartglasses focused on surgical use.
NuLoupes, designed and developed in collaboration with surgeons and dentists, is set to launch later in 2023. The product utilizes a proprietary camera system that is patent-pending to provide real-time 3D stereoscopic imaging with accurate sub-millimeter depth perception. NuLoupes also includes access to an ecosystem of AR applications and content specifically designed to assist clinicians such as object recognition, surgical and dental navigation, and dictation and operative notes, among other features.
NuEyes is a smart glass technology company that aims to help individuals with eye conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinitis pigmentosa. The company also provides AR solutions that cater to various markets, including low vision, medical, enterprise, and entertainment, among others.
Analyst QuickTake: The release of NuLoupes will further expand the company's efforts in the healthcare industry. Previously, in August 2022 , NuEyes partnered with Samsung to provide healthcare solutions for medical professionals utilizing smart glasses from NuEyes with Samsung-connected devices.
