Netskope, a provider of cloud security solutions, announced the launch of an endpoint software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) to enable organizations to offer secure access on endpoint devices from anywhere.
Netskope plans to provide the new service on its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform alongside its Secure Service Edge (SSE) offering, integrating Secure Web Gateways, Zero Trust Network Access, Cloud Access Security Brokers, Data Loss Prevention, and Firewall-as-a-Service with the new SD-WAN offering.
The company claims that the unified client, which will be available later in the year, will be the first unified software-based SASE client in the industry, with most existing solutions requiring multiple clients or hardware at the endpoint to offer the same capability.
