AR content creation platform DEVAR announced the launch of its Generative AR Platform, the world's first neural network for augmented reality (AR) content creation. 

The Generative AR platform developed by DEVAR utilizes a neural network to create 3D and 2D objects for webAR projects. The platform utilizes a neural network to calculate the necessary parameters for creating 3D objects, including the recommended number of polygons, textures, and correct topology, helping users who lack experience in AR content creation to create 3D objects. Further, the generated 3D models are optimized for performance, making it possible for low-end smartphones to support the AR projects. 

DEVAR is the creator of MyWebAR, a no-code platform that enables users to create AR content for the web without the need for an app. The MyWebAR platform offers features such as the creation of AR 3D business cards, interactive product showcases for ecommerce, and AR-guided tours for training purposes, among other features. The platform also offers image tracking, world tracking, and QR-code tracking to display digital content in AR on the web. The company also provides courses on AR content creation.

Analyst QuickTake: The launch of generative AR tools builds on previous updates to the company’s flagship platform, myWebAR, dubbed the “Canva for AR.” Previous updates include the release of a 360-degree panorama sphere plugin and stencil object plugins in February 2023, as well as the inclusion of AR object shadows in August 2022 .
