Bitsight, a cyber risk management and analytics firm, has announced its expansion within the integrated cyber risk space, announcing an extended partnership with Moody’s Analytics, a new response service for its third-party risk platform, and an update to its risk-rating algorithms.
The company claims it will expand its partnership with Moody’s Analytics as a cyber risk analytics provider, enabling Moody’s analysts to provide enhanced insights through new integrations. Bitsight analytics will also be available through Moody’s BVD Orbis compliance data platform.
Bitsight’s Third Party Vulnerability Management platform, which provides a cyber risk vulnerability detection service giving businesses visibility of its vendors’ cyber risk, has seen the addition of a response tool, allowing them to directly contact affected vendors through the platform to remediate.
Bitsight has also updated its risk-rating algorithm to account for changes in cyber security and cyber-attack threats, changing the weightings of risk vectors and other parameters based on independent research. Bitsight’s risk ratings allow organizations to measure their cybersecurity performance and cyber risk, along with that of their vendors.
