Litmus introduces digital twin capabilities to its industrial data platform

Product updates

  • Litmus, a provider of industrial IoT solutions, announced the introduction of digital twin capabilities to its Litmus Edge and Litmus Edge Manager platforms.

  • Litmus has developed infrastructure that accommodates different types of digital twins such as asset, site, or use case-driven twins for energy monitoring, predictive maintenance, production optimization, quality control, etc. The adoption of digital twins would enable manufacturers to represent gathered data, visualize it, run simulations, and make prompt decisions based on real-time information.

  • The technology has been refined after releasing to a limited customer group in early 2022. Customers that have acquired the Litmus Edge Scale package can now use digital twins without any extra cost.

  • Analyst QuickTake : In September last year, Litmus raised USD 30 million to scale sales, marketing, and customer support, as well as extend service and deployment to enterprise customers through various channels. Incorporating digital twin capabilities to enhance product features would further help the company in achieving these objectives.
