Partnerships
Geographic expansion

  • Beep, an autonomous shuttle operator, has partnered with the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) to launch an autonomous shuttle program in Bishop Ranch business park in San Ramon, California. This reportedly marks the first such autonomous shuttle program in the Bay Area.

  • The program will be launched later this month and will run through fall 2023 (September–December). Rides are limited to four key destinations within the business park and are offered free of charge. The program is available from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm on weekdays and will be operated within a maximum speed limit of 15 mph.

  • Beep and CCTA also plan to launch another autonomous shuttle program in an additional location early next year.

Analyst QuickTake: Beep has tested autonomous shuttles across multiple locations in several states in the US, including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wyoming, and today's deployment will add California to the list.
