Klarna, a Swedish ecommerce payment solutions provider, has announced plans to broaden its product offerings by adding personalized shopping assistance, creator support tools, and other new features such as resell functionality and shopping feed alongside its BNPL offerings.
Klarna introduced its personalized virtual shopping assistant, “Ask Klarna,” which leverages real experts' product knowledge to provide shopping customers with shopping advice via chat or video call.
Additional features include its creator shop (which allows content creators to have customized storefronts alongside an ad manager that provides self-service advertising for retailers to improve engagement with Klarna’s shopping customers) as well as a resale functionality that allows them to sell secondhand items through a marketplace.
