Lookout, a mobile endpoint security company, announced it would be selling its consumer security business to European cybersecurity company F-Secure for ~USD 223 million.
Lookout’s consumer business develops a mobile antivirus app, which F-Secure says will complement its existing suite of antivirus products, and expand its presence in the US market.
Lookout has increasingly expanded its presence in the enterprise solutions market, acquiring SASE-focused cloud solutions company CipherCloud in 2021. The company says it will now focus on becoming a pure-play enterprise security company, developing mobile endpoint security and cloud security solutions.
