Revolut, a UK-based neobank serving the B2C and B2B segments, announced the launch of its financial services in Brazil. It will provide clients in Brazil with a bank account that supports multiple currencies and enables remittance services to 27 countries.
With more than 10 million individual investors in Brazil, the neobank will also provide cryptocurrency investments to customers in the country.
From May 02, customers on the waitlist will be encouraged to sign up in a phased rollout of the app.
The company has already formed a management team in Brazil, which includes the appointment of a local CEO, Glauber Mota, who was previously employed at BTG Pactual, a prominent investment bank in Latin America.
