Openlayer, an ML model testing platform, has raised USD 4.8 million in seed funding led by Quiet Capital with participation from Y Combinator, Picus Capital, and Hack VC, among others.
It intends to use the funding to increase its workforce and develop the platform's capabilities in order to better handle additional ML workloads.
Formed in 2021, Openlayer provides an ML validation and testing platform that allows developers to detect, diagnose, and correct model failures before they are deployed into production. It also helps verify the integrity of training and validation datasets, bringing ML observability to every stage of development.
Its platform is already used by startups as well as Fortune 500 companies.
