Recogni introduces SKD for autonomous and automated driving solutions

Product updates

  • Recogni, a provider of AI-based processing for autonomous vehicles, has announced a software development kit (SDK) for its “Phoenix ADAS/AD” (advanced driver assistance systems/autonomous driving) high-performance computer, which provides processing power and scalability for Level 2 to Level 4 autonomous vehicles while maintaining low latency and power consumption. Level 2 refers to vehicles that can control both speed and steering but require a vigilant safety driver; Level 4 refers to fully autonomous vehicles limited to specific locations and/or conditions.

  • The company claims the SDK will give customers the necessary software tools to increase their compute capacity and reduce power consumption and system complexity. Recogni's SDK will also enable customers to port their AI perception networks and autonomous driving functions to the Phoenix platform, allowing them to implement autonomous driving applications and overcome compute bottlenecks in existing systems.

  • The Recogni SDK is expected to be available in Q3 2023.
