Salsa, a company providing APIs for software developers to embed payroll solutions into their products, has raised USD 10 million in funding. The funding round was led by Greycroft, Better Tomorrow Ventures, and Definition, and included investors such as HoneyBook’s CEO, Oz Alon, and AngelList’s CEO, Avlok Kohli.
The funds will be allocated for product development and increasing headcount.
Salsa was founded in 2021 with the aim of providing a method for integrating payroll into existing business management software platforms, neobanks, staffing agencies, and workforce management companies. It also handles compliance, calculations, tax filing, and money movement. Salsa currently supports the US and Canada, claiming to double the number of customers every quarter and expecting to end 2023 with 400% revenue growth over 2022.
